Telephones ringing before we even have chance to unlock the front door! Finally answer the telephone before it rings out, Mr. "X" ringing to thank us for an excellent job on his garden and do we do swimming pools. Another great start to a week.
3 property appraisals this morning in Campoverde, clients want to rent their properties out through us. We go to meet the clients while the office handles the clients coming in and phones ringing off the hook, maybe we should hire some more help and soon!
We arrive back at the office about lunchtime; all 3 clients want to come on board with us. Once the annual fee is paid then we can start marketing their homes through our extensive network. While we were out the office did a deal with a local estate agent to manage 12 apartments that one of his clients has just bought. There are more potential clients for us to go and see on the new Polaris World development and Senior Roda estate. All this and we still haven't eaten, again!!! Maybe we should call it the OPI Pilar weight loss program!
Out for lunch at the Danish place, while we are there the bar owner needs a place to rent and so does his friend, we just can't get the properties fast enough. As soon as we get them they are gone, another two potential tenants to add to the ever growing waiting list.
Back to the office after lunch, while Pilar goes quiet our office doesn't! Another potential client on the phone from the Euro Marina development, more emails to sort through. Photo sessions to be booked in for the three clients from this morning, hope the sunshine holds out for the pictures! All this and still people coming and going, collecting keys, booking car hire, cleaners to be paid, deposits to be taken. Potential tenants to take round new properties that we've just taken on, phone calls to make..........the list goes on and on!
Finally we have a quiet period for about half an hour, chance to catch our breath and make coffees! Yippee!!
5pm, only an hour till close and still a mountain of work to do. We get another email from a potential client with a new build ready end of October. They only want property management and aircon and satellite TV and grills, oh and can we clean the place, furnish it, and do the garden! ONLY!!! Of course we can, that's what we do and that's why we are the best!
6pm, close up for another day. Shut down the computers, turn off the lights, lock the door, and roll down the shutters. The phone starts to ring, again, no chance of getting the shutters up and the door unlocked before they hang up, they'll ring back tomorrow they always do.
